Return & Exchange Policy

Our products are handwoven by artists in Bihar. Slight variations may be found between products and this is not a defect but a quality inherent to handlooms. Colours may differ slightly because of screen resolution.

We will ensure that every product undergoes a stringent test to ensure it is damage-free and will stamp the receipt with a ‘QC Passed’ stamp.

However, in the rare event that you may have to return a product, please go through our Returns & Refunds Policy.

PLEASE NOTE

  • There will be no exchange of OR refund on products unless there is a manufacturing defect (pre-existing stain or tear for example).
  • NO CASH REFUNDS will be made. If you do not wish to take a replacement immediately, we will issue a credit note for the amount with a validity of 90daysfrom date of issue of credit note.
  • If your products are damaged or faulty, please email us at info@bunkarbihar.com within 3 days of receiving your garments with photo evidence of the defect and we will process an exchange. Please note that we do not refund shipping cost, duties or taxes incurred.
  • The cost of shipping the article to us is to be borne by you and is non-refundable by us.
  • All returned items must be shipped to the following address using a trackable courier company, with a copy of your receipt

  • The item is returned in a secure package along with its original packaging in which it was received- unworn, unused, unwashed, with all original tags in place. We request you to maintain the original packaging of the items to be returned, including our Bun.kar Bihar tags. Failure to meet these requirements may result in delays processing the return of the package
  • Please mention your order number in the subject line to help us quickly process your returns.
  • Cancellations of orders 12 hours after purchase and payment will be free, after which a cancellation fee of 50%will be levied. (this is to protect the weaver from being adversely impacted).
  • International orders which are undelivered due to any issues from the customer’s end, are inapplicable for Refund. Hence, it is requested to not place any refund request, in case of non-delivery of products wherein the customer was unreachable/out of station/has provided incorrect shipping information or any such issues which arise from customer side.

Shipping Policy

  • At Bun.kar Bihar we take great care in delivering your products to you, and we partner only with reputed national couriers. Shipping within India is FREE for all orders. International shipping is FREE for all orders above $220. For orders below that, we charge a flat $25 shipping fee.
