Bahar Natural Tasar – Beige Silk

Bahar is a beautiful extra weft “bavanbuti” handloom silk sari in natural tasar shade artfully embellished with bold red florals on its 1 meter pallu edged by red and turquoise blue extra weft stripes, a 2” kora border accented with a turquoise blue selvedge sets off the fine hand craft of master weavers of the state. It has a 1 meter blouse woven with small red motifs. The traditional weaves of Baavanbuti in extra weft are Bun.Kar Bihar’s humble efforts to promote and celebrate the state’s rich handloom heritage.
