Gauri Deep Pink Cotton

Gauri is an exquisite extra weft “bavanbuti” handloom cotton sari in a deep pink shade artfully embellished with intricate 52 traditional floral motifs woven in kora accented with amber yellow all along its pallu and borders. The sari has 1.75” border in kora edged with deep pink and blue to accentuate the rich pink of the sari. It has a 1 meter blouse with 2mm blue and pink stripes that add elegance to the tradition of baavanbuti motifs woven in the sari. The traditional weaves of Baavanbuti in extra weft are Bun.Kar Bihar’s humble efforts to promote and celebrate the state’s rich handloom heritage.
