Amala Ch. black

Amala charcoal black is an extra weft “Baavanbuti” cotton sari woven with cotton yarn hand spun on Kisan Charkha. The sari has traditional motifs woven on its 1 meter anchal in red and kora with extra weft lines edging the motifs all across the length and width of the anchal. small motifs in red and white adorn the rest of the 6 meter sari.
1 meter blouse is in kora as a dramatic accent to the charcoal – black of the sari.
The traditional weaves of Baavanbuti in extra weft are Bun.kar Bihar’s humble efforts to revive and promote the state’s rich handloom heritage.
