Bahar Red Cotton

Bahar is a beautiful extra weft “bavanbuti” handloom cotton sari in soft carrot shade artfully embellished with exquisite florals in white accented with blue all along its 2.5 meters length from pallu -end edged with extra weft stripes in blue and white. The carrot shade of the sari is offset with a 1”border in soft beige edged with carrot shade selvedge which shows – off the fine hand craft of master weavers of the state. It has a 1 meter blouse decorated with small motifs in white. The traditional weaves of Baavanbuti in extra weft are Bun.Kar Bihar’s humble efforts to revive and promote the state’s rich handloom heritage.
