Bhargavi wine Silk

Bhargavi is a beautiful handloom tasar silk sari in a deep wine shade embellished with very intricate extra weft“bavanbuti” floral motifs woven in clusters in kora accented with deep red motifs all along the sari anchal. The rest of the sari is embellished with white diamond motifs accented by a 1cm yellow foot border and 1cm red along the matha – patti border. The sari has a 1 meter blouse in deep wine shade embellished with kora diamond motifs. The extra weft ‘Baavanbuti’ saris represent the rich handloom heritage of Bihar and showcases to the world the high dexterous skills of the weavers.These traditional weaves are Bun.kar Bihar’s humble efforts to promote and celebrate the state’s rich handloom heritage.
