Dakshita Maroon

Dakshita is a maroon tasar silk hand woven baavanbuti sari, embellished with 52 geometrical motifs in natural white and yellow across its 6 metre length. It has a 1 metre blouse with 1 inch stripes in yellow, white and maroon. It has a 1″ border in black and maroon. The extra weft ‘Baavanbuti’ saris represent the rich handloom heritage of Bihar and showcases to the world the high dexterous skills of the weavers. These traditional weaves are Bun.kar Bihar’s humble efforts to revive and promote the state’s rich handloom heritage.
