Deveshi

Deveshi is a deep denim blue handloom silk sari embellished with white geometric motifs in Extra Weft in half meter of sari anchal. The sari has a black border edged with lime green with a 3 flower motifs all along in lime green and white. The 1 meter blouse is the sari’s accent with geometric motifs in white all along its length. Mulberry is the warp with reeled tasar in weft. The traditional weaves of Baavanbuti in extra weft are Bun.kar Bihar’s humble efforts to revive and promote the state’s rich handloom heritage.
