Shobhana Kattha- Natural Dye Cotton

“Sobhana kattha is an extra weft “”baavanbuti”” sari woven with cotton yarn hand spun on the Kisan Charkha and woven on a pit loom. Sari yarns are dyed with Catechu (Kattha) and turmeric (Haldi). The sari anchal is embellished with traditional motifs in kora & turmeric – yellow with smaller motifs adorning the rest of the sari. 1 meter blouse has turmeric yellow in weft which gives its a shot look of turmeric – kattha embellished with fine small motifs in white.
