Gauri Blue Cotton

Gauri is an exquisite extra weft “bavanbuti” handloom cotton sari in a deep blue shade artfully embellished with intricate 52 traditional floral motifs woven in kora accented with red all along its pallu and borders. The sari border in red is edged with blue to complement the master craftsmanship of the weaver. It has a 1 meter blouse with 2mm blue, red and white stripes that add elegance to the tradition of baavanbuti motifs woven in the sari. The traditional weaves of Baavanbuti in extra weft are Bun.Kar Bihar’s humble efforts to promote and celebrate the state’s rich handloom heritage.
